- A1.Future Architect was founded on November 28th, 1989.

- A2.Our goal is to maximize our clientele's future value. To accomplish this we form a strong understanding of each clients' essence of business from a management viewpoint and take advantage of the latest IT technology.

- A3.The company's IT Consulting Business provides integrated services to help clients with everything from reforming their business processes to designing, developing and managing their computer systems. Our Package & Service offer ASP business software package in areas of specialization such as sales maangement and enterprise resource planning (ERP). The Corporate Revitalization Business, meanwhile, helps small and medium-sized regionally-based companies to revitalize their operations throuth management reforms and the introduction and effective use of information technology.
- Q4.Tell us about your research and development activities?
- A4.We work aggressively to provide cutting edge R&D, including sets of components, system platform technology, network technology and next-generation grid computing.
- Q5.What is "future component"?
- A5.In order to develop high quality systems in a short period of time, the company has developed standardized solutions for basic architecture and programming. These are developed using a wide range of middleware and development tools. For further information, refer to the section on "Future Components".

- A6.As of the end of December 2007, there were 12 consolidated subsidiaries in the corporate group. They are the Future Financial Strategy Corp., e-Manufacturing Co., Ltd., ABM Corp., Elm Corp., Ascendia Inc., XEBEC LAND INC, Uoei Shoten Corp, and so on.

- A7.We operate on a standard schedule with a semiannual financial report at the end of June, and a full year report at the end of December.
- Q8.When are the financial reports issued?
- A8.Annually, the full year settlement is announced in mid-February, and the midyear settlement is announced in mid-August. We plan to also have reports quarterly, with the first being at the end of April and the third at the end of October. Refer to the "IR schedule" folder.

- A10.Our business objective is to increase our current earning by a growth rate of 20%.

- A11.Although corporate earnings remain brisk, there has been an increase in competition, and the challenges that companies face are also becoming increasingly complex. Companies need flexible architecture that can handle large scale, rea-time data in order to respond quickly to the demand for system upgrades and expansions, IT implementation, and usage that goes hand with management reforms and management restructuring, and solutions that are tailored specifically for the increasingly specialized knowledge and rapidly progressing business reforms of sectors such as the financial industry. Future Architect is known for its sold business foundation and strong track record in meeting these needs. Consequently, the IT Consulting Business - registered a 15.1% year-on-year increase in sales. - Q15.When is the fixed date for shareholders' dividend payment?
- A15.It is fixed on the last day of December every year.
- Q16.Approximately how much are the dividends?
- A16.Our dividend payouts per share over the past several years as follows. In fiscal 2003, 2004 2005, dividends were 2,700 Yen per share(the equivalent of 675 Yen per current share, following the stock split). In fiscal 2006 and 2007, dividends were 950 Yen per share( the equivalent of 3,800 Yen per share prior the stock split).
- Q17.What about share splitting?
- A17.On Oct. 28, 1999 the company conducted a 2-for-1 stock split. On May 10, 2000 a 10-for-1 stock split was conducted, and on December 20, 2001 a further 2-for-1 split was conducted. On February 1, 2006, the company conducted a 4-for-1 split.
- Q18.What about your company's ownership of its own stock?
- A18.In fiscal 2006, the company conducted share repurchases on two occasions: the first took place between October 3 and October 27, and the second was conducted between October 30 and November 13. A total of 19,596 shares were repurchased. In 2007, the company repurchased shares during three periods: the first between February 23 and April 13, the second between August 8 and September 28, and the third between November 13 and December 28. A total of 28,240 shares were repurchased, at a total cost of 1,868,549,000 Yen.

- A19.We have a meeting every year near the end of March. Please refer to the "IR schedule" folder.
- Q20.How does the company conduct disclosure?
- A20.Generally speaking, the information is disclosed via electronic media. Of course, if there is an accident, system failure or some other reason why disclosure cannot be handled via electronic media, the company would issue a press release via The Nikkei . Under article 440 section 4 of the Companies Act of Japan, the company does not disclose its balance sheets and income statements in this manner.
